We make it easier to reach a qualified Ohio physician and understand the steps that follow. The medical judgment stays with them.
Plenty of people who qualify for Ohio's medical program never start, usually because the steps sound complicated or they assume it means an in-person appointment. OldBrooklynCannabis.Clinic removes both hurdles: you book a video visit in a few clicks, and the page you're reading explains what happens next in ordinary language.
Each is a licensed Ohio MD or DO carrying an active Certificate to Recommend from the State Medical Board. They practice independently — we don't employ them or influence their decisions. Expect a genuine review of your records and symptoms. If Ohio's criteria aren't met, a physician will say so rather than issue a recommendation.
The physician enters it into the state system, and Ohio emails you a link to the Patient & Caregiver Registry. There you confirm residency with an Ohio driver's license or state ID and pay the current $0.01 fee. Registration runs for twelve months. Anything official — eligibility, conditions, limits — is decided and published by the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control.
This site doesn't sell products, practice medicine, or file anything with the state for you. It has no affiliation with the State of Ohio or with any dispensary it mentions.
Physicians and telehealth partners pay for advertising and patient-connection services; that's how the site is supported. The arrangement is described in our Advertising Disclosure and plays no part in anyone's clinical outcome. For questions, use the form on our Terms & Policies page.
Evaluations are held by video, on your schedule.
